Love Connection Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 foster-based rescue whose founders have been saving dogs and making loving matches for over ten years. We take in all sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs and puppies and work to make lasting connections to families of all shapes and sizes too. All of our dogs are kept in foster homes. Foster families help us identify the unique personality traits of our dogs which make it easier for us to be transparent with families in order to find them lasting, loving, forever homes. We like to pull dogs in need from the county shelters across Arizona, from the Indian reservations, and dogs that require board and training.
Your donation will help with medical costs for our dogs and puppies. We accept dogs of all conditions, so we often need to administer healthcare, vaccinations, as well as spay and neuter dogs before we place them in a loving home. We bear the cost of veterinary care for owner-surrendered dogs when families can't afford their care.
We have monthly bills in the $3700 range just for spaying and neutering.
Also we use a boarding and training program for some of our dogs that need some extra help adapting for a new home. This has a weekly bill of $800 per dog. Currently 4 dogs are in this program
Currently we have high medical bills for a few special case dogs. Read about them below.

Matilda is a sweet 5 month old female terrier mix puppy. She needs major dental surgery. She will need some of her teeth reshaped and bonded together due to enamel defects. Also Matilda has a hole between her nasal cavity and oral passageway(Oronasal fistulas). The pre surgery estimate is $3463 to $4313.
Meet Willy Wonka, a 1 year old male heeler mix. Willy is a great dog, but has had a rough last few months. Willy had surgery in mid October due to his genitalia being stuck outside of his body. He came through this operation well, but a month later had the same issue present itself again. The best answer to this problem for Willy was to have an amputation of his genitalia. This sweet boy had his amputation surgery on Dec 14th. And is in the healing process now. Total cost for his 2 surgeries was $5200.
Here is one of our momma dogs Virgo. She is a 2 year old cattle dog/heeler mix. Virgo came to us pregnant and had a litter of 7 puppies. Unfortunately a month later Virgo had to go to the emergency vet with swelling of her mammary glands and a high temperature. She was found to have a ruptured mammary gland abscess, which has led to a potential deadly infection. As of Dec 23rd, this poor girl is still under medical care to help get her though this. Her medical bills to this point are $4500.
